BenefitProof is operated by Nathan Stryker, operating under the Pacer-X name.
Your records stay on your device
Receipt and document images, extracted expense information, providers and merchants, amounts, claim history, reimbursement information, and generated claim PDFs are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to a BenefitProof-operated backend. BenefitProof does not require a user account.
Optional analytics and diagnostics
Analytics and diagnostics are optional and disabled by default. You can enable or disable them at any time in the app under Settings → Analytics (iOS) or Settings → Share anonymous analytics (Android).
When enabled, analytics and diagnostics may transmit limited information such as app and device information, bounded feature-interaction events, and crash or diagnostic data. They do not include receipt images or contents, provider or merchant names, expense amounts, medical-expense descriptions, claim PDFs, or other sensitive expense content.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play as applicable, and communicate with Apple or Google as necessary to complete purchases and verify entitlements. BenefitProof does not receive your full payment information.
Other data practices
- Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request.
- BenefitProof does not sell personal information.
- BenefitProof does not build advertising profiles or use app content for cross-context behavioral advertising.
